The study has been funded with UK aid from the UK government, and was developed with the support of the Inclusive Futures consortium. Development Initiative’s role in the Inclusive Futures consortium is to strengthen the data and evidence on persons with disabilities to improve their long-term economic inclusion.

The National Union of Disabled Persons of Uganda, Action for Disability in Development and Sight Savers teams in Uganda, as well as other organisations for persons with disabilities, provided valuable opinions and feedback.
