I oversee publications at Development Initiatives (DI). This involves advising colleagues on how to create compelling content – helping to pick the right format; making text engaging through editing and recommendations on structure and tone; working with analysts to produce accurate and enlightening charts, infographics and interactive content; and making the most of HTML publication.
Beyond that, I also help manage DI’s website content, ensuring it is up to date, and that it provides the best user experience possible. I support the production of DI’s corporate content such as annual reports and strategies, and as part of our wider offer, I work with partners and clients on outputs to help them achieve organisational goals that overlap with DI’s.
I am lucky to manage the publications staff here at DI, and we take a lead in maintaining DI’s ethical content policy, house style, organisational tone, a consistent brand and visual identity across the graphics we produce.
