Our global talent market is broad and to attract and retain talent while ensuring fair pay, we have global career levels with local pay ranges. The global career levels allow us to establish competencies for a role wherever it is based and supports career development in a fair and transparent way. Local pay ranges are developed using external sources to job match and benchmark our roles to ensure that we are paying salaries that are competitive for the relevant market in which that role exists. This allows us to have a local market-competitive pay framework that is simple and transparent. Contractual arrangements within this framework will differ depending on market conditions and funding. We have pledged to show the salary in all the DI roles we advertise. We don't show the salary for the consultancy opportunities; instead we typically ask prospective consultants to quote in their local currency based on the role profile, and their experience. We will provide salary guidance if requested.

Since 2013 we have been an accredited Living Wage Employer in the UK and apply the same principles to salaries across the world.
